On August 31, 2024, Cali Nepal hosted its most electrifying event to date—the Cali Nepal Championship! Held at Nada Parc, Bansbari, this championship brought together the best calisthenics athletes from across Nepal to compete in various strength, endurance, and freestyle categories. A total of 45 athletes competed in various strength, endurance, and freestyle categories, making this one of the largest and most intense competitions we've ever organized.
Event Highlights:
The competition featured Freestyle Open, Strength & Endurance (Male and Female), and Static events, drawing in a crowd of passionate calisthenics fans.
- In the Strength & Endurance Female division, Isura Rai claimed the top spot with an outstanding score of 275, followed by Sumi Shrestha in second place with 216, and Shilu Shrestha rounding out the podium with 198.
- For the Strength & Endurance Male Beginners, Ujjwal Adhikari took home the gold with a score of 417, while Gaurav Khatri and Jim Tamang placed second and third with scores of 390 and 363 respectively.
- The Strength & Endurance Male Advanced category saw Sandeep Kumar Ratna dominate the leaderboard with an impressive score of 499.
- In the Freestyle Open, Laxman Adhikari was crowned champion, delivering a flawless performance that left the crowd in awe.
It was an unforgettable day of camaraderie and competition as athletes demonstrated the spirit of calisthenics in Nepal, encouraging a vibrant community to grow stronger together.
